Walt Disney Elementary

About Us

What is the PTA?

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a national organization that works to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and in our community.

Walt Disney PTA works diligently to ensure that each child at our school has an enriching educational experience and is part of a positive, supportive, and cohesive school community.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Walt Disney PTA is to support and encourage the academic and creative achievements and the social well-being of all Walt Disney students. The PTA Board and the Committee Chairs, together with the volunteers and the teachers, have an essential and vital role in meeting our mission goals by acting as follows:

  • Create a sense of community inclusive of all students, families, and staff: preschool through fifth grade.
  • Encourage communication between PTA members, volunteers, and Walt Disney teachers and staff.
  • Promote diverse participation in PTA leadership and membership.
  • Stimulate Walt Disney school spirit and Dragon Pride.

326 trees were planted in honor or Walt Disney Elementary, as a result of our partnership with Treering.com Yearbooks in the 2017-2018 school year.

Happy to be doing good, while supporting our school and capturing precious memories!
